Window Envelope Mini Album Page Tutorial
I have been working on a little envelope mini album for a couple days now. This mini is full of small window envelopes that I designed and cut myself using the Sizzix Eclips. This Window Envelope Tutorial will show you how to make the little pages I put into my album. They are super easy and fun to make. Using these helped me finish the mini in just two days. Tomorrow I will post more photos but for today just the tutorial and downloads.
I designed these little envelopes to be part of a mini album. I want to focus on creating quicker mini albums. I think this technique is not only fast but quite visually entertaining as well. The papers are from Teresa Collins Vintage Finds Collection.

I realize that not everyone has an electronic cutter and they can be quite expensive especially for the budget crafter but I do highly recommend them. I believe an electronic cutter is well worth the investment. It makes my crafting much easier and opened up hundreds of new crafting possibilities. But I know some of you still like to do things old school with a craft knife. I could never use one of those things, I’m terrible and keeping a steady hand. So here is the printable PDF version of the SVG files. I would download these, print them out, cut them out and use them as templates for creating your own window envelope masterpiece.

Very cute! I like the idea, but can’t figure out what binding system to use to make the pages into an album. How did you bind them?
This binding system is called ‘hidden hinge binding system’ You should Google it, there are several videos with tutorials. I really like it because I get to use the full page without having to worry about punching holes or anything.

I love this video and the window envelope. I have tried several times to get the PDF to download and it won’t do anything., Am I doing something wrong? love love your creativity!! what electronic cutter do you use? it is easy to set up. I dont know how to use PDF. HELP!
Right now I use a Silhouette Eclips to cut everything out. You can usually find them on eBay for a good price. It is easy to set up, just plug it in and insert the disk to the computer. To use the PDF’s you can print them out and then trace/cut them out. For some of the more intricate cuts you should use a craft knife to get better cuts.
