Spring Layout
I am so excited that Spring is officially here. I went outside yesterday to enjoy the nice weather and get a little sun and was overjoyed when I saw my first full bloom of the season with many more on the way. I snapped a quick pick and had to scrapbook this awesome Spring layout.
I feel like Spring is the perfect time of year. It’s not too hot and it’s not too cold. It’s beautiful and makes the world feel alive. The flowers begin to bloom and the butterflies come out and visit. It’s just a perfect season to me.This Spring scrapbooking layout is extremely typographic so it really pops and I used three different sheets of paper to complete it. I cut out several elements from the paper and arranged them. I made a pretty matching embellishment and finished it off with some stitching.
I think the light colors of the page really make the photo stand out which is what I wanted. And the big bold typography at the top is awesome to look at. I added a little bit of journaling by printing out some text and cutting it into little strips.
The matching embelishment was easy to make. I used three punches: a scalloped circle, a small circle and a heart. I also added a little bit of twine for some additional texture on the page.
What is your favorite thing to do in the Spring? Let me know in the comments down below. I love going hiking! The weather is perfect and sometimes we even spot some wild life.
Love the idea of round rope around the ❤️ paper!!!
