Spring Mini Album Scrapbook
I just finished working on this gorgeous new mini album that I am planning to throw all of my Spring photos in. The cold has gotten to me and I am ready for it to heat up a little. Lucky for me, it does not stay cold for very long where I live and Spring will be here within a couple of months. As you can tell, I am already looking forward to the warmer weather and the new season so I thought I would get a head start on a Spring scrapbook.
Springtime Mini Album
I wanted to use kraft cardstock as my base and some bright, fun colors for the paper. As I was looking through my stash I found this gorgeous paper pack from My Mind’s Eye called Ooh La La. It is gorgeous paper and I love the palette. It’s filled with greens, yellows, oranges and reds. Once I started doing the first couple of pages I decided to not use any of the red papers or elements and save those for another mini album, possibly Valentine’s day themed.
The mini itself measures 3″ by 8 1/2″. I did not use any chipboard for the covers and no fancy bindings, it is very much a barebones album. I figured this would make a great coffee table scrapbook because it is light and doesn’t take up too much space. Not to mention, it did not take very long to make. Enjoy the share!

Very cute little owl charm that I absolutely adore. The pearl chains and charm was part of a necklace I found at the .99 store.
Custom handmade crinkle seam binding.

White paint splatter on the background.
I sprinkled embossing powder onto the background of this tag and set it then added some really pretty lace details.
Big pocket page at the end of the album for all of the extra goodies that I like to throw into my albums to remember like receipts, tickets and movie stubs.
I left the back plain with a simple white doily.

I usually don’t comment on people’s web sites but I am new to Pintrest and actually still learning day by day how this site works. I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your Spring mini album I have a love for beautiful papers and embellishments and have scrapbooked and made cards for about 20 years I also love to paint and sew I have had rheumatoid arthritis from the time I was a child but it has gotten so bad that I now have had to have my leg amputated and I can only use two fingers on both hands. Im not complaing Im only telling you these things so you would understand how much I love the things that you have made and posted. I hope that you will continue to post and make video’s. You are so talented I’m also new with computers but I’m trying Right? Who knows you may never see this but again I just wanted to say thank you and keep up the great work because you do an awesome job. Thanks for sharing:)
Thank you so much for your kind comment! I also have problems with my hands, pretty severe carpal tunnel that keeps me from crafting as often as I like but I will continue making projects and posting them because it is something I love to do.
