For make it Monday, I have a handmade ombre greeting card tutorial for you lovely paper crafters today. This cute ombre card is easy to make using distress inks.

I chose to use two blues in the video tutorial but I think this would look great blending two different colors as well. Here I blended together blue and green to create the ombre background on this greeting card. <\/p>\n

Since the distress ink palette comes in such a wide variety of colors you can really choose any color under the rainbow to blend. I would love to see a pink and orange card done in this style. You can use other inks that are not distress inks. Stampin Up Pads would work great as well using a sponge. All you need to do is tape down your card surface and start adding your colors. Start from the top and work your first color a little more than half way down the background. Do the same thing with your second card but start from the bottom and add color until you get to the first color then blend together until you achieve the desired effect.<\/p>\n
