Today, I am showing you how to make handmade stationery sets. I came up with this idea as a gift for a handmade gift exchange that I am participating in. I started with a custom address stamp and went on to create little note cards and a memo pad. I wanted to display this all in a portfolio style case so I created one out of a cereal box.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lovepapercrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/stationery-set.jpg\" alt=\"stationery set\" width=\"640\" height=\"219\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1296\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lovepapercrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/stationery-set.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.lovepapercrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/stationery-set-600x205.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.lovepapercrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/stationery-set-300x103.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.lovepapercrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/stationery-set-500x171.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.lovepapercrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/stationery-set-560x191.jpg 560w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>How to Make Handmade Stationery Sets<\/h2>\n<p>Supplies I used:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scissors<\/li>\n<li>Glue<\/li>\n<li>Paint Brush<\/li>\n<li>Ruler<\/li>\n<li>Cereal Box<\/li>\n<li>Designer Paper (DCWV Timeless Type)<\/li>\n<li>Black Paint<\/li>\n<li>Hard Coat Mod Podge<\/li>\n<li>Glitter Mod Podge<\/li>\n<li>Black Elastic<\/li>\n<li>Small Magnets<\/li>\n<li>Note Cards (handmade)<\/li>\n<li>Envelopes<\/li>\n<li>Memo Pad (handmade)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>First I created the actual stationery. I took kraft card stock, cut it in fours creating four note cards per sheet. I stamped each with a sentiment. I used &#8216;hello&#8217; and &#8216;thank you&#8217; as my sentiments. I made the memo pad by cutting down sheets of lined paper, punching holes at the top and using a spiral binding to secure them together. I added a black piece of card stock to the back of the memo pad.<\/p>\n<p>For the portfolio style stationery case, I cut a cereal box in half. I then glued the pieces together to create a sort of gate fold album. I painted the edges black and covered it with designer papers. I added some magnets for closure and some elastic as a pen holder. <\/p>\n<p>The last step was creating some boxes to hold my note cards.
