Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. I have to say it is one of my favorite holidays to craft for. From little Valentine’s goodies for the kiddies to doing some decorations around the house. Crafting is always used at my house to celebrate the day of love. Today I made a Valentine’s Day Card Tutorial using basic scrapbooking supplies. This is a video tutorial that you can watch and follow along with.

This basic card layout and the techniques used can be applied to more than just Valentine’s Day cards. I used the same basic layout to do this ‘Celebrate’ card that I made for a friends birthday.

I am always afraid of handwriting sentiments. I don’t feel like I have very nice handwriting and I don’t know calligraphy. But I do find that it is a lot easier to hand write sentiments on cards when I use a pencil first before using the pen. Practice makes perfect right? Don’t be afraid to hand write your sentiments on the cards you make. It adds to your own personal style and makes the card more personal.<\/p>\n
