I finished up weeks 3 and 4 for my 2015 Project Life project over the weekend. I’ve been focusing on adding more color and more “artistic” pieces here and there. For week 3 I used a Hedi Swapp die cut journaling card and color sprays to create a really pretty marbled journaing card that really stands out on the page. If you downloaded my light pink now and forever journaling cards that I posted last week, you can see them in action on my week 3 layout.

For week 4 I wanted to add some paper goods from new restaurants I had tried. I ended up just punching holes in the Which wich bag and the menu from a pizza place and just stuck them in the binder rings. I like the interaction and the fact that you can actually feel some of the papers. I’ve been finding it hard sometimes to match up pictures I took with the layouts. I think I will need to start taking landscape and portrait orientation photos every time I snap one so I have options. I found that printing out square photos and adding them to journaing cards or decorative paper is the best route when I can’t match a photo to the layout I have. In the week 4 Project Life layout I layered a 3″ x 4″ journaing card onto a 6″ x 4″ journaing card.

Four weeks out of fifty-two down. So far I love what I’m making. I love that everything is protected in page protectors as well so I don’t have to worry about anything getting messed up or dirty. Happy crafting!

I finished up weeks 3 and 4 for my 2015 Project Life project over the weekend.
