Welcome to the new weekly challenge. This week’s challenge is turning a simple card sketch into a work of art. Here is mine

I used a cream, copper and black palette. The hardest part for me was matching papers and colors. I used 100% recycled cards in kraft paper for the base. Most of the papers are from My Minds Eye. I used some randomly sprinkled black and copper glitter embossing powders on the background. I also edged the flowers and tags in copper embossing powder. I used a Tim Holtz die to cut the tags and some crinkle seam binding that I hand dyed for the ribbon. The flowers I cut out using the Sizzix Eclips in both black card stock and copper glitter card stock. I curled the flowers and added black brads to the centers. The sentiment is just a rub on.<\/p>\n
