I am working on putting together some treat boxes for an upcoming children’s birth day. I plan on filling the favor boxes with little bouncy balls as well as some candy and a small activity book, all the things kids will love. I made this adorable little free favor box template for creating the boxes. The are simple to put together and can be decorated in any way. They are on the small side but they will do fine for small bunches of candy and other small goodies.

I decorated my little favor boxes with some hand dyed seam binding and twine at the top. The bottom has some washi tape and a mauve colored flower. I also distressed the edges to give the boxes some character. I used some patterened card stock to cut the favor box template. This is just a sample box the one I do for the children’s party will have an owl theme. I plan on making a tutorial for that one and posting it here later.

The top flap of the pyramid treat box template has a scallop edge. It can be closed with glue or punching holes at the top and threading ribbon, twine or yarn through. Quick tip: if you print the template on the back white side of some patterned card stock it will make it easier to cut if you are using the printable version.

The Zip file contains both a printable PDF and a cuttable SVG that can be used with any computer connected cutting machine that reads SVG files. The finished dimensions of the 12 x 12 cut file are 4″ H 3 1/2 W 2 1/4 D.
