It is always fun to change out your phone case to something new and fresh. I like to do it so often that I use a clear case and make several covers at a time so I can switch them out whenever I get bored. With a clear case and a pencil, paper and scissors […]
Hey paper crafters! If you’ve ever wondered what the best free cutable cursive script fonts are, I’m here to share my favorites with you! I have been using these 10 fonts for cutting all of my titles and embellishments and I think you should to. All of these fonts can be used to make perfect […]
I think one of my favorite parts of Christmas is the crafts. I love making things and anything DIY so of course, I have to make some of my Christmas presents by hand. Today I finished two really easy, really simple projects.
I made this diaper cake slightly different than my last few. I used to roll each of the diapers and I chose not to do that this time to save myself some time and effort. Not only was it easier but it looks better too. Total spent: $26.78 for 84 Huggies size 2 diapers, 3 receiving blankets, ribbon and paper fill. This one was super easy and I’ll definitely be making similar diaper cakes in the future.
I made this diaper cake for my cousin who is having twins! I couldn’t really decide on a set color scheme so I used the basics: pink, blue, green, yellow. 4 layers, around 108 diapers, 3 bottles, 4 spoons, 2 bottles of shampoo, 2 bottles of baby lotion, 2 bottles of baby powder, 6 pairs of socks, 2 stuffed animals and a bouquet of flowers for the top cost me around $50 and about two hours to construct.
So my latest venture into arts and crafts is the rebinding of books. Specifically, rebinding old books into journals. I had so much fun with this project I plan on doing a lot more and a tutorial one day. Check out my first rebound book made into a journal and sketchpad.
My youngest cousin will be turning 2 in just a few days and her party will be in a couple weekends. I made invitations for it. I got the lollipop invitation idea from the internet. It cost less than $4 to put 25 of these together. Most of the materials that I didn’t already have I got on sale at Joann’s. These were cheap, super cute invitations and I enjoyed making them with help of course.
WARNING! I’m in craft mode. I’ve been making all kinds of nifty things for the last few days including a back drop, lightboxes, and this nifty little journal. I used heavy-duty drawing paper and coffee stained each of the pages by hand then tore the edges. The thing looks fantastic. I just need to bind […]
